BESPOKE: The Process

REPUTATION

We are inspired by transforming any vision into a reality and work with master craftsmen who turn the impossible into the possible. We are very proud of our artistry, both in terms of concept and implementation and it is our hope that the passion that drives the creative process is evident in everything we do.

COLLABORATION

The success of our work results from the collaborative approach between our design team and our clients throughout the entire creative process, resulting in something highly personal and new, tailored to your own needs. Everything we create at recognisable from the materiality to the British characteristics of inventiveness, meticulous attention to detail, creativity and elegance.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Expert craftsmanship is at the core of our design process at FBC London. Fiona employs a myriad of textures and technologies but embellishes these intricate designs with the natural wilds of Northumberland. True to FBC London’s creative process, the combination of these traditional and modern techniques, the manufacturing of the furniture is developed working with a large variety of selected artisans and craftsmen based predominantly in the Northeast of England. We ensure that these artisans and craftsmen use only the finest materials, beautifully balanced design, cutting-edge creativity and consistent innovation. Our highly skilled team of designers work with an unswerving dedication alongside theses craftsman to create the most exquisite pieces of furniture. Every piece is inspired by history and the natural world. They are timeless in their simplistic elegance, luxurious in their diverse materiality, quality of finishing and attention to detail.

SEAMLESS

Whether you are commissioning a piece of furniture for a house or yacht, an architectural desk or box, we aim to make the process as seamless as possible from start to finish. We will be delighted to show you examples of our work, introduce you to your design team and discuss your requirements in detail. Examples of previously commissioned pieces and samples such as woods, fabrics and leather are used to help visualise the initial concepts.
