In 2015 ‘The Studio’, a 6,500 sq ft retail flagship in Victoria was opened. 12 Francis Street is the flagship design studio for FBC London, as well as FBC Kitchens and Fiona Barratt Interiors, the interior design arm of the company. The concept behind 12 Francis Street is to offer a complete ‘lifestyle experience’. The studio provides an exclusive opportunity to meet with our designers, view the furniture up close and experience in-situ displays giving the client an insight into the design process in a relaxed and informal way.
The inspiration behind the design of the studio is an industrial, yet super lux environment. An eclectic mix of unique and luxurious materials, tactile finishes and feature lighting that contrast but complement the urbanised exposed brickwork, steel beams and polished concrete floor.
The studio building itself is a former post office depot and sorting office. Architecturally stunning with its imposing red brick façade, the building has retained some beautiful original Victorian features. Internally, exposed steel beams and columns gravitate toward high ceilings and exaggerated, ornate doorways. The studio design scheme was developed in such a way as to sensitively maintain and exploit these unique features whilst also creating a new, mid-century modern expression to complement the original structure.
“I see The Studio as the perfect industrial-luxe backdrop for my designs, with luxurious materials and tactile finishes contrasting with the exposed brick and steel beams.”

FBC London launched in 2013, with ‘The Showroom’ on prestigious Pimlico Road, to create and sell luxury handcrafted furniture, artisanal accessories, feature lighting and wallcoverings.
The FBC London Showroom at 66 Pimlico Road welcomes you upon entry with a mirage of textural treats, luxuriously upholstered furniture and an over arching elegance of design. The space is a creative mine field to inspire the mind and, with our FBC London branded candles glowing throughout, the senses.
The shop is spread across two floors – ground and basement – with beautifully adorned display windows on the ground floor, equidistant from the entrance. Visitors can browse our vast range of accessories, furniture, wall panels, lighting and wallcoverings throughout the Showroom. Above stairs specifically is a bespoke kitchen completed by FBC Kitchens, featuring Gaggenau appliances and our Lunabronze finishes. Below stairs, a bedroom scene has been created featuring the FBC London Juno Bed and bed side tables from our Byethorne Range.
FBC London’s showroom pays homage to Fiona Barratt-Campbell’s ethos; setting the tone of the space and allowing customers to immerse themselves in a combination of textures presenting a tactile invitation to experience the collections.
