At FBC London we seek to be inspired not only by the world around us, but also by the skilled and talented artisans and craftsmen who are working today to combine traditional and modern techniques.
In celebration of London Design Festival 2017, FBC London is proud to announce the first in the ‘Meet the Maker’ series, where we celebrate the best of British craftsmanship and manufacturing by taking a closer look at the collaboration of our founder and designer, Fiona Barratt-Campbell and award-winning ceramicist Tessa Eastman.
Fiona Barratt-Campbell will provide an invaluable insight into the stories behind her designs, giving a thorough understanding of how the natural world and history impact on the style and design of her luxurious pieces. The event will highlight the beauty of creative partnerships by turning to a workshop with Tessa Eastman, who, inspired by the ‘strangeness of growth’ within organic forms and patterns, will give a demonstration of the making of her hand-crafted pieces. Lastly, a Q&A session will take place whereby Tessa will be happy to answer any questions.
During the evening, FBC London will be offering a 10% discount on all products and bespoke orders placed on the night.
