GENERAL SHIPPING + DELIVERY POLICY
Our products are carefully designed, crafted and tested to give you the best experience possible. That’s why we take extra care when delivering, only working with couriers and carriers that we trust.
As each item is unique and has different needs when it comes to shipping, the sum will be calculated at checkout. VAT will be automatically deducted, where applicable, orders delivered to countries outside the EU.
FBC London is not responsible for any import duties payable, but we may be able to advise on the likely costs.

FBC London processes orders Monday through Friday, we do not process or dispatch orders on weekends or bank holidays.
As a service to our customers, we arrange the shipping of orders via one of our preferred carriers. All charges are proforma and will be included on your order’s final balance.
We have partnerships with the world’s best shipping providers to facilitate seamless and fully insured delivery directly to you, wherever you are in the world. Our logistics team is comprised of dedicated members who arrange all the details with our partners, servicing and supporting all shipments.
Here are the different shipping methods you may see once a quote is available:
White Glove Service: This is the highest level of service provided for large or fragile items. Our carriers offer competitive pricing to handle everything from pickup to delivery, which includes delivery to a chosen room within your home (note, there is an extra charge if there are more than two flights of stairs), unpacking, item inspection, and minor assembly; installation is not included. You or someone you trust must be present to receive the delivery. It’s important to note that handling, which includes shipping preparations, packaging, and disassembly, may take up to 5 days and is not included in the shipping time estimates, but is accounted for in estimates on any item details page and at checkout. White Glove Service and Curbside Service for large or fragile items can be expedited upon request, but the extra cost can be substantial, as expedited shipping may require specialised carriers or routing changes. For specific installation (e.g. hanging or mounting) requirements, please contact us directly prior to the delivery to discuss placement suitability. Shipping estimate: 4 to 6 weeks for domestic delivery, and 4 to 10 weeks for international, including pickup.
Curbside Service: The name “Curbside Service” does not necessarily mean what it suggests. Your item is only required to be delivered to your property, which can include the front door to your residence or building, your driveway, or curbside. Upon delivery, you will be required to sign for it. A crate may be used to provide maximum protection. The service does not include unpacking, condition inspection, minor assembly, or installation. Shipping estimate: 4 to 6 weeks for domestic and international delivery, including pickup
Standard or Express Parcel: Shipping estimate: 1 to 7 days for domestic delivery, and 1 to 3 weeks for international. All estimates are based on times after the item has been shipped, including pickup. Please note, estimates do not account for handling time, but you can find handling estimates in the shipping description on the item details page and at checkout. Your item will be safely packed in a box and shipped. Our parcel carriers maintain a high rate of successful deliveries, offer competitive pricing, and provide advanced tracking and communication. Shipping estimate: 1 to 7 days for domestic delivery, and 1 to 3 weeks for international.
Messenger: A local messenger service will hand deliver your item at a time that works for you. This is a London only service.
If you choose to manage your own freight and delivery, FBC London must be notified of the specific details of the movement. The fee to move the product from a manufacturer to a terminal for “customer’s own” pick-up will be added to the balance due. The location of the pick-up by the client or the client’s agent may trigger sales tax responsibility at that location.
Ownership of the product transfers to the client upon the freight carrier taking possession of the order for transport. Therefore, responsibility for damage occurring in-transit is the owner’s and all claims for freight damage must be made within 72 hours of receipt. If customer selects their own freight carrier, freight claims must be filed directly with the selected carrier. FBC London is not responsible for a customer’s own or third party freight damage and claim.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Please allow approximately 10 business days for standard shipments of in stock items to arrive. If you have selected items that are special order, custom-made or back-ordered items, please refer to the applicable lead-times.
Dispatch is when we send the product to our delivery partner, not the date it arrives to your door.
Your account manager will manage with the delivery partner will keep you up-to-date with regards to delivery time schedule. They will propose a delivery date and time slot for you to confirm (or reschedule if it isn’t convenient).
My item has a lead time. What does this mean?
On the product page for each item, you will see a lead time estimate e.g. ‘8-12 weeks’.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally. You can e-mail us at [email protected] for a quote. Please provide a complete shipping address, phone number, and a list of items you’d like us to ship to you.
How will my items be packed for shipment?
Due to the fragile nature of our furniture, fixtures and objects, we use doubled walled cardboard packaging and protective cushioning to prevent damage while in transit.
In a small effort to save the world, FBC London may reuse boxes and send your objects in perfectly, imperfect packaging. Recycled is beautiful.
Scheduling a Delivery
If you are using the White Glove Service, the carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours before the delivery date to schedule a convenient time, usually within a window of 2 to 4 hours, to drop off your item.
With FedEx, UPS or another parcel carrier, it’s generally more difficult to schedule a delivery, but we recommend you contact them directly to make delivery arrangements.
