The Monumental Campaign

< Back to Press and Stories

Shot at the St John at Hackney Church, founder and creative director, Fiona Barratt-Campbell shares a behind-the-scenes preview of the brand’s first ever campaign shoot.

The Monumental campaign – and its six room scenes – reveal all the signature elements that have guided the timeless FBC London aesthetic over the last eight years: texture, colour and contrasting juxtaposition of nature and materiality.

“The monochromatic interiors juxtaposed with period detailing and majesty of those enormous windows perfectly encapsulated our idea and mood of monumental”

Original Materiality

Excitement and anticipation surrounded the shoot, being the first shoot or public event to reveal the interiors of the new John Pawson designed church; a monumental masterpiece itself. Each room scene mixes pieces that reference new and historical collections with one-off privé collector items. The shoot demonstrates the breadth of our creativity, but also how the consistency of our design enables endless combinations.

Behind the Scenes

A team of sixteen people onsite for fourteen hours made our first ever shoot possible.
